Friendly Grasshoppers and Beautiful Butterflies

This week in Forest School, Year 3W went on a butterfly hunt. Armed with ID guides, the children observed several buddleia bushes in our school grounds, a favourite plant for butterflies to collect nectar from. They spotted Large White, Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock butterflies…


We were surprised to see a grasshopper in our Forest School area too! He certainly took a shine to the Year 3 children…
